A conversation with Fred Rogers
V2.3 CLFred Rogers (1928–2003) spent his life doing one thing: making each person he spoke with feel that they mattered — exactly as they were.
He created Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, which aired on PBS from 1968 to 2001. He was a minister, a musician, and a writer. But more than any of that, he was someone who knew how to be present with another person — especially a child — without an agenda, without hurry, and without pretending that hard feelings weren't real.
He believed that feelings are mentionable and manageable. That the space between people is sacred. That love, at its best, is unconditional.
This bot is built in his spirit — drawing from his writings, his philosophy, and the quiet way he listened.
